  1. DevOps Engineer

    • Migrated 40+ applications from raw Kubernetes manifests to Helm charts and integrated Argo CD for GitOps-based continuous delivery, reducing deployment errors by ~50% across clusters.
    • Automated build, test, and deployment workflows by developing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines integrated with GitHub and Maven, delivering releases consistently across multiple environments (PROD, QA, TEST and DEV).
    • Deployed and managed highly available containerized applications on Kubernetes and AWS EKS using Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, autoscaling, and load balancing; executed rolling updates, rollbacks, EKS upgrades, and worker-node patching.
    • Streamlined artifact management by configuring Poll SCM and scheduled triggers and building deployment jobs that publish Maven artifacts to Nexus and S3 and deploy WAR files to application servers.
    • Provisioned and managed multiple AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, ELB, EKS, ECR, Route 53, EFS) as version-controlled, repeatable infrastructure using Terraform, building reusable modules, using provisioners, importing existing resources into state, and detecting configuration drifts.
    • Strengthened observability and security by building Prometheus and Grafana dashboards and alerts and integrating Trivy image scans into CI/CD pipelines to catch vulnerabilities before release.
    • Resolved critical production incidents by analysing containers, Kubernetes, and Linux logs, identifying root causes, and coordinating with development, infrastructure, middleware, and operations teams.

    • Administered Linux servers hosting Apache Tomcat, HTTPD, IBM WebSphere, JBoss and iPlanet, handling OS patching, service start/stop and management, application deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
    • Restored services during critical P1 and P2 incidents by troubleshooting on the Linux command line: analysing system and application logs, checking processes and services, and resolving filesystem and disk-space issues, while coordinating with application teams and business stakeholders.
    • Installed and renewed SSL certificates on Linux-hosted web and application servers to maintain secure connectivity.
    • Supported Jenkins build and release activities and Git/GitHub version control across application environments.
